Two Petitions for Public Houses one Bloomfield and one in Tarlton

To the Honorable Court of Common Pleas of Pickaway County, O. Your petitioners do believe that a public house of entertainment in the Town of Bloomfield would be conducive to the public good and convenience - therefore do represent to your honourable body our fellow citizen Thomas Brimert to be a suitable person to keep the same - we ask of your honorable body to grant him a license for that purpose and in duty bound your petitioners will ever pray. April 1, 1830

The undersigned petitioners beg leave to represent to your honors that we deem an additional house of entertainment would conduce to the public interest in the Town of Tarlton. We therefore recommend Mr. Geo. W. Magee of said Town as being a man every way calculated to keep a public house, and as the stage stops at his house every day, we respectfully request the Honorable court to grant to him a license to keep a tavern in said town - and as in duty bound we will ever pray. Tarlton April 4, 1830
